I came across this letter I wrote to my son before giving birth. I was
cleaning up my room and as i went through my papers, i saw it
desperately waiting for me to read it. I just had to share it. Its nice
to see the mental state i was in during my pregnancy. Although I liked
crying, i was very passionate about my unborn baby. I still am.
Ncoooh, shame this letter. I wish i had finished it.

Siyabonga Radebe on Zaziwa ❤
Yesterday's Zaziwa on SABC 1 was one of my favourite episodes. I love all of them but that one was just special. I was happy to see Siyabonga Radebe as the guess, he my one favourite actors and crash. I love every character he has ever worked on. He's so funny, has a beautiful smile and confidently says he's beautiful. When he sang that beautiful song to Pearl I was reminded of his character in Intersexions - Muzi who sang for Buhle. He melted my heart when he said mwaah!
I would love for him to sing that song on my wedding day one day... Siya B if you see this blog please man.
The other thing that captured my attention was when he made that monologue on the song the
'End of the road'
That accent was superb. I just burst out in laughter! I was just excited, while my son got irritated. That was a very beautiful episode.
I am Paballo Seipei and I enjoy watching Zaziwa.

Oprah Winfrey on Career, Life and Leadership
I have days when I feel out of place and lost without knowing what I need to do. When I am in that moment, my inner being says to me, "find some little inspiration on Google." I'm usually hesitant and don't know where to start but I find that Oprah Winfrey comes to mind all the time, so I listen to her. I grew up watching Oprah's show and most of the episodes were very inspirational. Watching her now as wise as ever, I get to learn more about the 'self'. The interviews she has with people who are discovering their purpose in life are actually helping me a lot in dealing with a lot of things in my life. I watched this video and jotted the following things that she said. I'll call them the Oprah's 15 ways of understanding life:
- My definition of luck is preparation meeting the moment of opportunity
- I took Martin Luther King at his word and understand the content of other people’s character.
- Be your presence to yourself, your connection to yourself and that which is greater than yourself.
- Take the time to know who you are and why you are here.
- Every human has a call.
- There is a supreme and innate moment of destiny for everyone.
- We are seeking to fulfill the highest, truest expression of ourselves.
- Your life is your greatest teacher; everything that happens in your life tries to bring you
closer to your inner being. - When the personality comes to serve the energy of your soul that is authentic empowerment.
- Align your personality with your purpose.
- There are no mistakes because you have a supreme destiny; your job is to feel that, to hear that, to know that.
- Failure is that thing that is trying to move you to another direction.
- You get much from your loses as you do from your victories because the loses are there to wake you up.
- The way through the challenge is to get still and ask yourself what is the next right move.
- If you have the desire, the universe will rise up to meet you exactly where you are.

Heritage Day at BOSASA is Paballo's Herifabulous Day!
Lovely Miss Paballo Seipei rocking her unique heritage outfit |
I think I should make them a braai for their effort. Tomorrow is #Braai4heritage Day and we are definitely having a braai. I should find Bokamoso an outfit to wear since his dad has some garment to show off. What I am going to wear tomorrow is a mystery.

Badirile's visit at home.
Contemplating on someone's funeral. |
If you get Badirile visiting your house, one thing is for sure....someone has died! Either at your home or somewhere around your neighbourhood. It's not rare to see him as he is a regular at people's funerals. It seems to me like he is fond of funerals. Although he feels sorry for the dead, it gives him some kind of closure to have said goodbye to a dead soul every week. Ask him who died and be assured to get even the greatest details of the deceased, how it happened, where and when the funeral will be.
He is also a companion to those who go to work every morning at our local taxi rank. He has his own hand bag to make it seem like him too is going to work. He has a funny character and those who know him will tell you how great of a comedian he is. I enjoyed having him around and laughing out at his observations, calling people funny names. lol
Holding that funny conversation. |
Gift nare kgogo e reng? Jesuse!! |
It was a bit strange that he chose to come at home but then again I thought of the warmth and love that resonates in that house and I concluded that he was pulled by the energy. So, since no one died at home. I believe his visit was luck knocking at the door.
I am Paballo Seipei and yesterday we had Badirile as our visitor.

Hat Day at BOSASA
Paballo in the Hat! |
It's casual day! BOSASA employees were required to create hats from recycling items. This was something that was taken for granted when the mailer was sent out. Today, one of our colleagues created a beautiful hat that inspired us to get into the mood. We started being creative and i created a straight cap! I like it and i am glad i am participating on another fun thing in BOSASA. Some of the hats remind me of Cat in the Hat, but that's a story for another day!
I am Paballo Seipei and today i am casual!

Paint Day at BOSASA
Paballo Seipei aka Pablo-Picasso |
Work does not always have to be serious, it needs a bit of fun, especially when one works in a creative department. We are a marketing department at BOSASA named eKayaMedia. Today we are painting our office walls blue and orange. As the creative group, we only thought it would suit our personalities to have these colours on our walls and more especially because they fall under BOSASA's brand colours. They also open a door of creativity for us. It is a fun day, more like team building! As our CEO Gavin Watson would say, we are teams2work, teams2create and teams2inspire.
I am Paballo Seipei and today I am a painter!

Deja Vu
If you had an opportunity to change the past what would you change?
I watched Deja Vu last night and I was left with so much joy. Victory if I may claim. I wanted to understand why so many people find it cryptic. I analysed and finally understood the movie! Boy it felt so great! If felt like I won the lottery. It's quite simple, Deja Vu is a time travel/ sci-fi/ thriller type of movie. The aim of Doug Carlin (the main actor) is to change the future in the past. He wants to save a woman's life and change the terrorist's plan to bomb the ship.
I guess we get the privilege to see these movies to eradicate the wonders of thinking of what 'could've happened' and 'what might happen'. Most of us wish we could change things but know that there are minimal changes of that happening. We have movies like Deja Vu or Next to give us that satisfaction or gratification of 'maybe' being a possibility. We can never change the past nor predict the future although there are people who posses the power to predict the future like Credo Muntwa. Well, as for us who have no powers what-so-ever we can only live by faith because tomorrow is a mystery.
I am Paballo Seipei. I know tomorrow is a mystery but I live hoping that tomorrow comes.

Fifty Shades of Grey
If you haven't read the fifty shades of grey novel then maybe you should before the movie comes out next year, February. I am the biggest fan and I can't hold my excitement! I can't believe it has come to life. It makes my stomach tremble...literally! I fell in love with Mr. Grey and started fantasising about him as soon as I read the book. It is very affectionate, I can't wait to see how intense it will be. If the book has a great effect by just reading it then the movie will make it rain baby!

What do you see when you look in the mirror?
Often we look in the mirror with one eye, avoiding to spot the things we hate about ourselves. |
I just love the message behind it. Self-love, appreciation and courage is all the beauty we'll find in the world. There will always be women who are more prettier, bolder, richer, thinner, thicker, funnier and all the other things we constantly compare ourselves to that bring nothing but pain and discouragement to us. When we look in the mirror we should be able to smile and love the people we see, if not then we should change it if we can. No one will tell you how beautiful you are when you don't tell the person you see in the mirror how beautiful she is.
I am Paballo Seipei and the person I see in the mirror is God's beautiful creation. |

The beginning - John Legend
John Legend and I ❤ |
I listen to him and his voice makes me want to share my love. If his voice can make an ordinary girl like me feel things, i don't know how his wife copes with him! God bless him and his marriage, may they last till death do them apart!
"It's the beginning of forever
You don't have to go
Sometimes you just know
It's the beginning of forever
It don't have to end
Keep doing it, and doing it again, oh"
I am Paballo Seipei and I love John Legend! ❤

John Legend - You & I Nobody In The World)
My first love on this John Legend album! You and I (Nobody in the world), this song just brings nostalgia to the core of it's existence. It takes me back to how I feel when I am with my significant other and no one around us. The talks, the laughter, the kisses, the warmth is just out of this world. The beat on the song, the lyrics and the love makes me want to fly to him. The song feels like a soundtrack of our settings when we are with our significant others. Nothing could possibly go wrong. When it feels good, you just want to hide away from everything else and enjoy each others company. If a man says, "Out of all the girls. You my one and only girl. Ain't nobody in the world tonight," then they make you feel special and loved. All you want is for those words to be meaningful and last forever. I listen to this and I feel like I'm in a new relationship. Whenever I think of love and how it makes me feel, I fall in ❤ all over again.
I am Paballo Seipei and I am in Love! ❤

My philosophy for a happy life
I came across this video seeking for a little bit of motivation. I wanted to compalin about something that is going on in my life. Then I thought of those who don't have the voice of complaining and I called myself into order by going through YouTube to search for something meaningful to share with you.
I am fully motivated. I am left with thoughts that came to my mind while watching this wonderful video. I felt like sometimes when we complain we don't know why we do so because there are people who face more difficulties than we do. We'll complain about how long we walk home from school or work forgetting that there are people who would do anything to get a pair of legs. We'll complain about how "fat" we are when some need those extra kilos to survive. Or even complain about how our neighbours get rich when we get poorer but never think of doing anything productive with our lives.
Maybe we should complain about how much we complain to realise how irritating we are. No one has a perfect life but those who look perfect to those who think they are imperfect know how to smile when things are tough. Let us learn to appreciate more and complain less. whenever you think of being negative to yourself think of what would happen if you didn't have what you are complaining about.
I am Paballo Seipei and I found a philosophy of a happy life.

We all face difficulties
When things go wrong, take time to be alone and just think. |
Sometimes we go to sleep stressed out, not knowing what we
are going to do the next day. Sometimes we don’t even wish to see the next day
because things might be going so wrong that death seems beautiful. We face
difficulties that seem like they can’t be fixed and don’t know where to start.
But, we eventually take a sleep after a long time of thinking, leading to mind
exhaustion.
We think of ways to get through what we are facing and come up with
decisions that we want to implement the next day. Some are lucky to wake up
with a new view of life and some continue with their misery but the day comes
and it has to be faced. What we need to learn is that time doesn’t stay still
and wait for us to recover. We might be going through hell but time will pass
and days will go. I just woke up realising that life is bigger than what we go
through and life won’t feel sorry for us. So, let us not feel sorry for ourselves and do what needs to be done.
I am blessed to see another day and
to realise that some people face more difficulties than I do; therefore I am
taking each day as it comes.

Top ten tips to being a good mother
Motherhood is quite a full time job and comes with a lot of responsibilities. Sometimes we think we are best at what we do until we get criticised by other mothers who think they are super mothers. So what are we to do to become good mothers to our kids? Follow these simple tips:
1. Listen to our kids
2. Play with them
3. Be a big part of their daily activities
4. Give them balanced meals
5. Read with them
6.Teach them how to pray
7. Embrace their ideas right/ wrong
8. Download play cards, story books and rhymes for them
9. Have a good relationship with people around us
10. Teach them basic hygiene skills
Children are simple beings and want simple things. Love is the simplest thing to give to a child. By implementing these simple tips, we are heading to having good relationships with them. Try them and enjoy the changes to come.

Uniting Presbyterian Young Women's Fellowship
Today was an emotional day for me and my peers at church. We took yet another oath of being followers of Christ. Another stage of affiliation called the Uniting Presbyterian Young Women's Fellowship. We began another journey of spiritual growth.
We wore our uniform in both excitement and sadness. It was an excitement of wearing a uniform that most young women don't want to be associated with because of many reasons, one being "we are too young to bind ourselves in God's staff, we still want to enjoy life" forgetting that God is always with us wherever we are and deserves to be given all the praise all the time. Who said life can't be enjoyed when you choose God's path? Anyways, It was sad to hear the beautiful messages from the our Miniters' wives who played a big part in this life event. Those women shared beautiful stories and messages that made some to shed tears relating back to their life's experiences. They made a nice analysis of an Eagle's life, I will share the story on my next blog.
It was amazing to see the support we had from our families, friends and our elders at church. It meant a lot to us. I pray to God that it does not end here but be a beginning of something new. I thank Him for this wonderful thing he led us to and the love He has for us. In Jesus name Amen...#Peace

I am blessed.
Me expressing how blessed I am. |
It is not often that we speak about how blessed we are but
too quick at complaining when we feel like blessings are for others and not for us. I
went home from work yesterday feeling blessed to have my family, my job, my friends and
every little thing I have. It is not often that we feel blessed to have
our jobs but we are very quick at pointing out the things we don’t like about them. It is
not often that we feel blessed to go to sleep with a full stomach but it is
likely that we complain about never eating at fancy restaurants. Blessings are not about what we feel we deserve but about what we have. I stopped complaining and enjoy the benefits of God's presence in my life. I feel blessed
to know that I am blessed on a daily basis. If we can change being negative about our lives
then maybe we’ll see and appreciate the blessings we have. I remember telling my aunt that I live by Matthews
scripture that says we mustn’t worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry
about itself. I claimed that scripture as my percept in life and I feel blessed
because God surprises me daily.
Hi, my name is Paballo Seipei and I am blessed.

Selfie with them Zebras!
I was so lucky to come back to work after a weekend of relaxation at home to find Zebras out in the park to be admired. After my experience on Friday, I decided to let go of the hunt and wait for them to come looking for me! *Wishful thinking*. But I found them enjoying the park and decided to take pictures of them, and a selfie of course. They are not as big as I saw them when I was scared and running around with Mpho. I guess I was a little delusional. Anyways, The Zebras in our park are so cute and lovely. Maybe Cute and Lovely should be their names...Oh, I just want to give them big hugs and kisses...*Another wishful thinking.* #sigh
