Uniting Presbyterian Young Women's Fellowship

Today was an emotional day for me and my peers at church. We took yet another oath of being followers of Christ. Another stage of affiliation called the Uniting Presbyterian Young Women's Fellowship. We began another journey of spiritual growth.

We wore our uniform in both excitement and sadness. It was an excitement of wearing a uniform that most young women don't want to be associated with because of many reasons, one being "we are too young to bind ourselves in God's staff, we still want to enjoy life" forgetting that God is always with us wherever we are and deserves to be given all the praise all the time. Who said life can't be enjoyed when you choose God's path? Anyways, It was sad to hear the beautiful messages from the our Miniters' wives who played a big part in this life event. Those women shared beautiful stories and messages that made some to shed tears relating back to their life's experiences. They made a nice analysis of an Eagle's life, I will share the story on my next blog.

It was amazing to see the support we had from our families, friends and our elders at church. It meant a lot to us. I pray to God that it does not end here but be a beginning of something new. I thank Him for this wonderful thing he led us to and the love He has for us. In Jesus name Amen...#Peace
