A letter to my unborn baby

I came across this letter I wrote to my son before giving birth. I was cleaning up my room and as i went through my papers, i saw it desperately waiting for me to read it. I just had to share it. Its nice to see the mental state i was in during my pregnancy. Although I liked crying, i was very passionate about my unborn baby. I still am.

Ncoooh, shame this letter. I wish i had finished it.

I am Paballo Seipei and I love being a mother.

Siyabonga Radebe on Zaziwa ❤

Yesterday's Zaziwa on SABC 1 was one of my favourite episodes. I love all of them but that one was just special. I was happy to see Siyabonga Radebe as the guess, he my one favourite actors and crash. I love every character he has ever worked on. He's so funny, has a beautiful smile and confidently says he's beautiful. When he sang that beautiful song to Pearl I was reminded of his character in Intersexions -  Muzi who sang for Buhle. He melted my heart when he said mwaah!
I would love for him to sing that song on my wedding day one day... Siya B if you see this blog please man.

The other thing that captured my attention was when he made that monologue on the song the
'End of the road'
That accent was superb. I just burst out in laughter! I was just excited, while my son got irritated. That was a very beautiful episode.

I am Paballo Seipei and I enjoy watching Zaziwa.

Oprah Winfrey on Career, Life and Leadership

I have days when I feel out of place and lost without knowing what I need to do. When I am in that moment, my inner being says to me, "find some little inspiration on Google." I'm usually hesitant and don't know where to start but I find that Oprah Winfrey comes to mind all the time, so I listen to her. I grew up watching Oprah's show and most of the episodes were very inspirational. Watching her now as wise as ever, I get to learn more about the 'self'. The interviews she has with people who are discovering their purpose in life are actually helping me a lot in dealing with a lot of things in my life. I watched this video and jotted the following things that she said.  I'll call them the Oprah's 15 ways of understanding life:
  • My definition of luck is preparation meeting the moment of opportunity
  • I took Martin Luther King at his word and understand the content of other people’s character.
  • Be your presence to yourself, your connection to yourself and that which is greater than yourself.
  • Take the time to know who you are and why you are here.
  • Every human has a call.
  • There is a supreme and innate moment of destiny for everyone.
  • We are seeking to fulfill the highest, truest expression of ourselves.
  • Your life is your greatest teacher; everything that happens in your life tries to bring you
    closer to your inner being.
  • When the personality comes to serve the energy of your soul that is authentic empowerment.
  • Align your personality with your purpose.
  • There are no mistakes because you have a supreme destiny; your job is to feel that, to hear that, to know that.
  • Failure is that thing that is trying to move you to another direction.
  • You get much from your loses as you do from your victories because the loses are there to wake you up.
  • The way through the challenge is to get still and ask yourself what is the next right move.
  • If you have the desire, the universe will rise up to meet you exactly where you are.
This interview inspired me a lot. I try to watch her talks nd interviews, by doing so I get to understand why things happen and what I need to do when they happen.  I live by this statement, "If you have the desire, the universe will rise up to meet you exactly where you are."

Heritage Day at BOSASA is Paballo's Herifabulous Day!

Lovely Miss Paballo Seipei rocking her unique heritage outfit
This is what I chose to wear at today work on our Pre-Heritage Day celebration. Actually, this is what my aunt and my friend Nombeko chose for me. We didn't know what to wear and suddenly my aunt remembered these beautiful outfits and voila! I have no origins and history for my outfit but it is hella awesome...I'll call it Herifabulous!

I think I should make them a braai for their effort. Tomorrow is #Braai4heritage Day and we are definitely having a braai. I should find Bokamoso an outfit to wear since his dad has some garment to show off. What I am going to wear tomorrow is a mystery.
Nombeko and I rocking our outfits.

Badirile's visit at home.

Contemplating on someone's funeral.

If you get Badirile visiting your house, one thing is for sure....someone has died! Either at your home or somewhere around your neighbourhood. It's not rare to see him as he is a regular at people's funerals. It seems to me like he is fond of funerals. Although he feels sorry for the dead, it gives him some kind of closure to have said goodbye to a dead soul every week.  Ask him who died and be assured to get even the greatest details of the deceased, how it happened, where and when the funeral will be.

He is also a companion to those who go to work every morning at our local taxi rank. He has his own hand bag to make it seem like him too is going to work. He has a funny character and those who know him will tell you how great of a comedian he is. I enjoyed having him around and laughing out at his observations, calling people funny names. lol

Holding that funny conversation.
It was very nice to find him at home, having young conversations with my sick dad, laying weakly on the couch. My mom was cooking, and he called her "Princess Diana" He says her mannerism is that of a "Princess" I found that cute. The only person he had a clash with was my brother Gift, who was also enjoying fooling around with him. My son on the other hand was just puzzled, with a lot of questions that couldn't come out. I don't think he'd even know where to start, if he were to ask.
Gift nare kgogo e reng? Jesuse!!

It was a bit strange that he chose to come at home but then again  I thought of the warmth and love that resonates in that house and I concluded that he was pulled by the energy. So, since no one died at home. I believe his visit was luck knocking at the door.

I am Paballo Seipei and yesterday we had Badirile as our visitor.

Hat Day at BOSASA

Paballo in the Hat!

It's casual day! BOSASA employees were required to create hats from recycling items. This was something that was taken for granted when the mailer was sent out. Today, one of our colleagues created a beautiful hat that inspired us to get into the mood. We started being creative and i created a straight cap! I like it and i am glad i am participating on another fun thing in BOSASA. Some of the hats remind me of Cat in the Hat, but that's a story for another day!

I am Paballo Seipei and today i am casual!

Paint Day at BOSASA

Paballo Seipei aka Pablo-Picasso

Work does not always have to be serious, it needs a bit of fun, especially when one works in a creative department. We are a marketing department at BOSASA named eKayaMedia. Today we are painting our office walls blue and orange. As the creative group, we only thought it would suit our personalities to have these colours on our walls and  more especially because they fall under BOSASA's brand colours. They also open a door of creativity for us. It is a fun day, more like team building! As our CEO Gavin Watson would say, we are teams2work, teams2create and teams2inspire.

I am Paballo Seipei and today I am a painter!
